Praia do Norte in Portugal saw massive waves, drawing top big wave surfers including Lucas Txianca and Justine Dupont. Txianca tackled some of the largest waves of his season, facing challenging wipeouts but also achieving standout rides. 

Justine Dupont continued her strong form from a previous win, delivering clean performances despite event delays from fog and power outages. Both surfers demonstrated their expertise and resilience in one of the world's most demanding surf locations.

Praia do Norte served up some absolute monsters on Saturday, and Lucas Txianca was ready for the challenge. The Brazilian big wave legend charged into the massive Portuguese surf, hunting for that perfect ride. His first wave was the stuff of dreams, potentially a perfect 10 and easily the biggest of his season. But Nazare doesn't give up its secrets easily, and Txianca got absolutely hammered on two massive wipeouts before finding his rhythm. That first wave, if I made it, that one could be a 10. That was the biggest wave of my season for sure. And felt special, this one. Meanwhile, Justine Dupont was putting on a masterclass of her own, backing up her February victory with some beautifully clean rides. Yeah, I'm happy because I got to surf a lot of waves with Eric. As always, he told me perfectly on some bumps. Despite fog delays and power outages cutting the competition short, both champions proved why they're the best in the business at conquering these Portuguese giants.
