Disney+ is giving Swifties one more encore. A six-part docuseries called Taylor Swift/The Eras Tour/The End of an Era will drop on December 12, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the world's highest-grossing tour.

Disney+ will release a six-episode documentary series offering a behind-the-scenes look at Taylor Swift's Eras tour. This follows the platform's earlier success with Swift's concert film, which achieved record viewership numbers upon its release.

According to a Bloomberg Intelligence analyst, the partnership is expected to benefit Disney+ by resonating with its subscriber base and helping to reduce customer churn. The investment is seen as a strategic move to boost engagement and maintain the platform's audience.

But this tour really was a record setting tour. How much is it going to help Disney. It's going to help Disney a lot. Matt I mean this is not the first time that Taylor Swift has partnered with Disney plus. She already had her first concert film. You know the original film out in March of 2024. And remember Disney plus said that that was their biggest ever concert film on their CD. So it generated something like five million views in just the first three days. And really it makes you know eminent sense. I mean she really her content really resonates. Well it speaks to the Disney plus subscriber base. And for Disney it's a very very calculated very meaningful investment that helps them to basically increase their engagement with their current subscriber base and really reduce churn.
