I'm not optimistic, another man says, because many attempts have failed. And this time is just like the previous times. That weariness is widespread. This woman says her family has been displaced nine times. She says they are now sheltering in a bombed out school because they have nowhere else to go. We in Gaza are people who sleep with death and wake up to death, she says. We know that at any time, we can die. The pressure to reach a deal will only continue to build, including from a crucial ally. Netanyahu will visit Washington later this month and will likely meet with the US president.
