West Coast of the United States

A new series of atmospheric rivers is expected to bring significant rain and snow to the West Coast of the United States, affecting areas such as the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. Northern Idaho and Montana are also forecasted to receive substantial snowfall, which is important for managing recent flooding caused by rivers bursting their banks.

Meteorologists note that increased snowfall, rather than rain, will help prevent immediate runoff and further flooding. The precipitation is expected to continue throughout the week, with snow levels dropping by midweek and another round of precipitation anticipated before the end of the year.

So again, looking pretty healthy from a snowfall perspective Kelly with this next batch of precip, which is going to be much better than all liquid form, which is what we had last week.
