I'm sure everyone's going to be a little nervous, you're supposed to be nervous. But embracing what could be a once in a career opportunity. The pressure will kind of go away when you're in the moment, but it's great to have a whole country kind of behind you and it's not just a city. You don't know how many times you'll make it to the World Series in your life, some people never do, a lot of people never do. So I think just being super grateful for the opportunity and taking advantage of it by preparing the best you can and going out there and competing. That countrywide support on display, a visit from the Prime Minister, who likes the Jays in sixth, but no bet yet with U.S. President Donald Trump. I think he's afraid to make a bet, he doesn't like to lose, he hasn't called, he hasn't returned my call yet on the bet, so I'm ready. The Blue Jays are the team with the most momentum, and they're also very talented. But Ohtani may face jeers from fans still bitter over his rejection of Toronto's courtship. Two years ago, he even visited the Jays' training facilities in Florida, and apparently gladly accepted gifts. I hope he brought his hat, the Blue Jay hat that he took from us in our meeting. I hope he brought it back, finally. Consider, the Dodgers are looking for their third World Series title since 2020, and hoping to cement their legacy as a dynasty. Look way up there, the banners in the rafters show the Jays haven't been here since 1993. Are the Dodgers favoured? Yes. Do the Blue Jays have no chance? No. Jays fans eager to see infielder Beau Bichette return from the injured list. That's him in grey. And how about rookie sensation Trey Yasavage, Game 1's starting pitcher, despite debuting in the big leagues just last month. We want to go out there and do everything we can to make this country proud of us. As for that David versus Goliath comparison, the previous round's Canadian-born MVP, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., is embracing the label. You know who won, you know, everybody know who won, right?
