Overnight Lifeblood were urging people to donate blood, O-negative in particular, as supplies started to dwindle with 42 people being taken to hospital after the shooting. I'm down here at the Town Hall donor centre where earlier lines were stretching out the door for 400 metres. In fact, lines were stretching out the door at every single donor centre across Sydney and not just Sydney, Melbourne too, they had an overwhelming response as states across Australia worked to fly blood into Sydney. Now I'm joined by Hannah from Lifeblood and Hannah you want to send a message out to people wanting to donate. Yes, so thank you to everyone who's come today, the response has been amazing. If you couldn't get into centres today we are asking people to see if they can make an appointment in the coming days or weeks.
