It's down 40 percent in our financial district. And we're continuing to drive those numbers down. And people are feeling better here in San Francisco. And that's what I can control. And Mayor Lurie went on to express his confidence in the police and sheriff's departments in keeping residents and visitors safe. Our time now, 646 demonstrators at UC Berkeley spoke out against a recent decision by the university administration to share the private information of students and staff with the federal government. Now, yesterday, a pro-Palestinian group rallied at Sproul Plaza, saying it's upset that the university president handed over personal information of about 160 students and staff members. The university said those names were given over because of their, quote, possible connection with anti-Semitism on campus. It's no surprise that our school would hand over our information to the fascist federal government. Their attempts of fear-mongering students into silence is only because they hope to keep their dirty complicity in the murder of the Palestinian people hidden from the public. Now, after the names were released earlier this month, the university said, quote, UC is committed to protecting the privacy of our students, faculty and staff to the greatest extent possible, while fulfilling its legal obligations. California is losing more federal funding for electric vehicle chargers. About $283 million in federal funding to California is expected to end. It would halt $15 million in funding to build more EV chargers at libraries in Contra Costa County. It would also stop funding for heavy-duty truck chargers along I-5 in the San Joaquin Valley. However, according to Politico, the state is still working to get funding from another federal program to build EV infrastructure.
