We agreed to launch a formal trilateral mechanism between Israel, Qatar and the United States to begin a dialogue to enhance mutual security. The White House released these photos of Netanyahu making the apology from a telephone in the Oval Office. Qatar houses the Al Udeid airbase. It is the U.S. military's largest installation in the Middle East and home to U.S. Central Command.
