An MTA worker was stabbed in the neck while on the subway tracks inside a Brooklyn subway station, the NYPD said.

A Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) worker was stabbed on the tracks at the Notion Avenue Eastern Parkway 3 train station in Brooklyn. The incident involved a 64-year-old victim who was stabbed once in the neck before the suspect fled the scene. 

The victim was transported to hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. Police have not made any arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
