Welcome and congratulations. Thank you. I did love that scene. I love you and Allison together as mother and daughter. We'll get to that in just a second, but okay, the notes say this about you, McKenna Grace, that this movie came about, or you had a big influence because you got a call from an Oscar-winning actor. Who is that who called you? I did, Miss Octavia Spencer. Did you guys know each other? Yes, yes, ma'am. She and I worked together whenever I was like nine on a film called Gifted, and I just like, I don't know, all of her advice has always been very, very important to me, and she called me up and was like, hey, you've got to do this. I worked with Brunson Green, our producer, on The Help, and he's such a dream, and I was like, I already wanted to do this project because I was in love with the script, but just getting that call and hearing how lovely Brunson and the whole team was, was like, I got to. It's nice to be validated when you think, I really like it, and then somebody like Octavia calls who you like and respect, you think, okay. There was no doubt anyway, but you have said that this was one of your favorite shoots to date. Yeah. How come? It was such a blast. I feel like I'm still such a family with this whole cast. I mean, I was taking pictures in the green room of me, like, messing with whatever is on Dave's face to send to a group chat with him and Mason. It's like, I just had such a blast with everybody involved, and the entire crew and cast felt like such a family. What did you love about the story itself? It, for me, coming off of being a, it's so weird to be, like, a former child actor now. We remember you from Young Sheldon. Oh brother, it's like, it's so, oh my gosh, yeah, little me. It's so weird. For me, it was the first time getting to step into a bit more of, like, I've done very mature roles and very serious things, but it was my first time playing more of my age and stepping into a role in a romance movie, so that was such an exciting opportunity for me, and there's also a lot of romance, but so much grit and intensity and, like, sadness to these characters, so it felt like just such an exciting opportunity, and I truly loved the story. You and co-star Alison Williams were co-producers on this project. What did you learn? What was it like being an executive producer, and what was it like working with her? Well, it's, uh, working with Alison, first off, was, like, so lovely. I adore her, and getting to work with her as a producer, as well, was very lovely for me. The last week, I just spent sitting in the green room talking and talking and talking. And learning, huh? Yeah, absolutely learning from her, but, I mean, Dave, as well, is also a producer on this, so I just got to sit and talk with them all the time about it, but it's not my first time being a producer, but it's my first time being a producer as an adult in the industry, so I kind of got to step a bit more into that role behind the scenes with, like, all the cuts of the film and, like, my notes really holding weight. It's nice being an adult in the industry. It's really cool. You had great chemistry with Mason Thames. I love the relationship that you all had that you built, and then we should say that this is a movie about secrets, big, big secrets. Yeah. I don't want to give anything away. Yeah. Yeah. Wow.
