The Weather Channel has issued a forecast indicating that holiday travel may be affected by scattered showers in the Ohio Valley and Appalachians, as well as a mix of wind, snow, and potential flooding in western regions. The central Rockies are expected to see snow at higher elevations and rain in the valleys, particularly along Interstate 70. 

Temperatures will range from 29 degrees in Bismarck to 80 degrees in Dallas and Orlando, with fog possible in New Orleans and a chance of snow in Buffalo and parts of upstate New York, Maine, and Boston. These varying conditions may create difficult driving situations for travelers across the country.
