Which Vance seemed to laugh off. Sometimes I am a conspiracy theorist, but I only believe in the conspiracy theories that are true. Since Trump was elected, Wiles admits she's tried to rein in his attempts to seek revenge and settle scores. Saying in one interview, and there may be an element of that from time to time. Who would blame him? Not me. And after Trump demanded the prosecution of New York Attorney General Letitia James, Wiles said that might be the one retribution. On tariffs, Wiles says there was huge disagreement at the White House over whether they were a good idea. And Trump pushed ahead even when his team was not on board. On those U.S. military boat strikes, the ones Trump says are about targeting drug smugglers, Wiles says it's actually about regime change in Venezuela. Saying Trump wants to keep on blowing up boats until Maduro cries uncle. And people way smarter than me on that say that he will. For now, the White House is supporting Wiles by attacking the press. This is unfortunately another example of disingenuous reporting. Wiles called the article a hit piece. Saying that it lacked context and disregarded much of what she said.
