German prosecutors name him as a suspect in the girl's murder. No charges have been brought against B. in the Madeleine case. He has denied involvement. Over the years, police have carried out searches across Portugal. But 18 years on, and with the prime suspect now walking free, Madeleine Mackenz's disappearance remains unsolved.
