In a video posted on X, Yulia explained that biological material from Navalny was smuggled abroad in 2024, where two laboratories examined it. The laboratories from the two countries have come to the conclusion that Alexei had been killed. To be specific, he had been poisoned. She demanded that the laboratory release their findings about what she called the quote inconvenient truth. She did not specify what poison the laboratories had found. Last year, Navalnya rejected information from Russian investigators who claimed that Navalny had died from a quote combination of diseases. President Vladimir Putin said that before Navalny died, there had been plans to swap him in a prisoner exchange with the West.

On the same day a ground offensive was launched in Gaza City, a United Nations Commission of Inquiry report concluded Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, a finding emphatically denied by Israeli officials.
