Without immediate intervention and the ability to seek treatment outside Gaza, the lives of many children remain at risk.

My daughter suffers from severe malnutrition and needs to be treated outside the Gaza Strip. She lost nine kilograms in the last six months, and her weight is now only 10 kilograms. She is not doing well at all, and her whole health situation is not achieving any progress. Now, even breathing is a struggle. Doctors say they have no medicine, no lab tests, no treatment to save her. All they can do is watch as her condition worsens. Many children here suffer from severe bloating, and antibiotics are no longer effective for them because of their weakened immunity. We don't have the basic needs for life. In Gaza, there is no food, no nutritional supplements, no medical care for children who are in dire need of treatment abroad. Malnutrition has turned Lamia from a vibrant girl into little more than a skeleton, her life hanging by a thread. Increasing numbers of people are suffering malnutrition in Gaza, with many families losing children to hunger that could have been prevented. Without immediate medical intervention, the lives of many children are at risk, and some urgently need to be evacuated from the Strip if they are to survive.
