This Gen-Z activist came to the pro-Radjolina demonstration and was kicked out by the protesters. When we want to hold peaceful demonstrations like this, we're forbidden from taking to the streets. But as you can see here, there are no soldiers, no police, nothing at all. That's not democracy. When it's Radjolina's turn to gather people, there's no problem at all. But when it's us, there are many problems. We get tear gas, they shoot real bullets at us. As police wait on the streets of the capital, Gen-Z protesters advance with their hands raised. They're trying to convince the security forces to let them pass, but their pleas are met with raised shields. Why don't you answer us? We're asking you a simple question. Do Malagasy people not have the right to speak today? Are you gagging us? We can't take the dictatorship anymore. The Malagasy people are suffering. The voice of the people must be heard, because the people are suffering. In response to the ongoing protests, Radjolina on Monday sacked his government and called for dialogue to restore order. Rejecting calls to resign, he described the protests as an attempted coup.
