Putin said that Russian troops are pushing forward, despite nearly the entire NATO alliance aiding Ukraine with arms, intelligence and training. As for the paper tiger thing, I have already told you that Russia has been fighting not with Ukraine and the Ukrainian armed forces, but with all the NATO countries for all these years. Well, if we are fighting with the entire NATO bloc, we are moving, advancing and we feel confident and we are a paper tiger, then what is NATO itself? However, Putin grew serious when discussing the potential U.S. supply of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. Can Tomahawks harm us? They can. We'll be shooting them down and improving our air defense systems. Will this damage our relations with the U.S., which are now seeing some light at the end of the tunnel? Of course it will. But how could it be otherwise? Using Tomahawks without the direct participation of American military personnel is impossible. This would mark a completely new, qualitatively new stage of escalation, including in relations between Russia and the United States. No U.S. decision on Tomahawks has been announced, though U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has said supplying the missiles is under consideration. Putin also poured scorn on suggestions that Russia was behind recent drone incursions in Denmark and elsewhere. And he accused European leaders of stoking hysteria with suggestions that Russia could attack a NATO country.

Ukraine and Russia have carried out another exchange of prisoners of war. About two hundred Ukrainian prisoners released by Russia have arrived in the Chernihiv region near Ukraine’s border with Belarus.
