U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has announced a military strike against a vessel in international waters near Venezuela, reportedly targeting a group affiliated with designated terror organizations. According to Hegseth, the operation was carried out under President Trump's orders and resulted in the deaths of four individuals described as narco-terrorists, with no U.S. casualties reported.

The strike comes shortly after the Trump administration declared drug cartels to be unlawful combatants, marking the beginning of what it calls an armed conflict with these groups. Intelligence reportedly confirmed the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics to the United States, and officials indicated that such operations will continue.
