Tropical moisture from the remnants of Priscilla is set to bring heavy rain and flooding to the Desert Southwest this weekend. Rain chances will increase Saturday and Sunday across parts of Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. A widespread 1-3 inches look likely with isolated totals as high as 5 inches will be possible.

The Four Corners region, known for its arid conditions, will experience unusually high precipitation, with some areas potentially receiving snow at higher elevations. The primary concern is the heavy rainfall, which may be difficult for the dry ground to absorb, increasing the risk of flooding.
