Princess Kate makes surprise public appearance

This is the first time the Princess of Wales has carried out a public engagement since she announced the end of her cancer treatment in September. And as you can see, she wasn't alone. She was with her husband, Prince William, who must have been happy to have his partner back by his side for work. Now, they chose to go to Southport, a village that was rocked by a terrible, tragic event stabbing at a Taylor Swift yoga and dance class back in July, targeting children. Now, while they were there, the Prince and Princess of Wales met with three families of the three children that were tragically killed and emergency services who responded to the event, as well as mental health practitioners who have been helping those who witnessed the day and were involved in that response. The royal family made clear throughout their support of this community. The king had actually already visited Southport. And this is a sign that the royal family really care and are showing their support and making sure that the town of Southport don't feel forgotten weeks and months after that tragic event.
