Global pop icon Taylor Swift has officially joined the world-famous Madame Tussauds. It has unveiled 13 wax figures across the world representing each of Swift's eras.

Madame Tussauds has unveiled a new series of Taylor Swift wax figures, celebrating the global success of her Eras Tour. The collection includes 13 statues, each representing different eras and costumes worn by Swift during her performances. Designers worked closely with the museum to authentically replicate outfits, with some pieces created in collaboration with original designers.

The project is described as one of the most ambitious in the museum's 250-year history, involving over 40 artists and taking more than a year to complete. The figures will be displayed in locations across the United States, Europe, and Sydney, with a touring exhibition beginning in Shanghai.

Madame Tussauds wanted to follow on from the runaway success of Swift's Eras Tour. It's the highest-grossing tour in history, with over $2 billion in tickets sold. Just felt right that this Eras Tour was so huge, it's so iconic, that we had to represent it at Madame Tussauds, including 11 Eras and 13 figures, given that 13 is her lucky number. The statues will be wearing a range of costumes that Swift wore during the tour. Some will be specific to the city or country where she performed, adding some extra authenticity. Every single outfit we've created is unique. Some pieces the designers actually replicated for us and others gave permission for us to replicate them ourselves in-house. So our incredible team at Madame Tussauds have worked so tirelessly to ensure every single detail is as it was at the Eras Tour. It's described as the museum's most ambitious project in its 250-year history. It took more than 40 artists working more than a year on the statues. For Swifties who want to see the figures of their idol, they'll be on display across the US, Europe and Sydney, Australia, with the touring statues starting in Shanghai.
