The fighting has intensified, with reports of clashes at multiple locations and large-scale evacuations in Thailand. While Thailand has provided casualty figures and evacuation numbers, Cambodia has not released details. International actors, including the United States and Malaysia, have called for an immediate ceasefire, but Thailand has so far rejected offers of third-party mediation, insisting that Cambodia must halt its attacks first.

Thailand's acting prime minister said Cambodia had launched attacks on multiple fronts and that Thailand was defending its territory. Before dawn on Friday, fighting re-erupted in 12 locations, up from six on Thursday, according to Thailand's military. Meanwhile, over 130,000 people have been evacuated from conflict areas in Thailand, where the death toll rose to 15 by early Friday, including 14 civilians, according to the health ministry. Cambodia's national government has provided no details on casualties or evacuations and did not respond to requests for comment on Friday. The United States and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim have urged an immediate cessation of hostilities. A spokesperson from Thailand's foreign ministry rejected mediation offers from third countries.
