John Paul, the accused gunman, is now facing dozens of charges. 59 to be exact, Sandra. Naveed Akram faced a bedside hearing from hospital this afternoon where the 24-year-old was charged with 15 counts of murder, one for each of the victims of the attack. He's also facing terrorism charges, which relates to committing a terrorist act, placing explosives with intent to cause harm, and displaying a prohibited symbol, the ISIS flag, on his car. He is also facing 40 counts of wounding with intent to murder, which relates to the dozens of people police say were injured in Sunday's terror attack at Bondi. Sandra, the 24-year-old, is still in hospital for injuries he sustained during the shootout. These charges just the start of what will be an incredibly long and complex legal process.
