According to her mom, the Cranford High School senior would spend hours watching makeup tutorials and practicing looks on her friends. It wasn't just about glam. It was about helping people see the beauty in themselves that maybe they have forgotten. She loved deeply. She gave generously. She dreamed boldly. She was killed alongside one of the people she loved most. A close friend, Isabella Rose Salas. I will miss you every single day for the rest of my life. A mass and funeral service for Maria will be held tomorrow. Meantime, a visitation for Isabelle Salas will be on Saturday, followed by her funeral on Monday. The tickets were issued for an incident at the same time and place as the deadly hit and run crash Monday night. Those include speeding, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Police, we should point out, have yet to officially name the driver charged with the murders of the two girls will continue to follow this story throughout the coming days.
