In Rome, authorities estimated over 250,000 participants, while organizers claimed up to one million people joined the march, making it the fourth consecutive day of protests in Italy following Israel's interception of an international humanitarian flotilla.

Similar rallies were held in Madrid, where more than 90,000 people demanded action against Israel, and in London, where the protest was organized by Palestinian Action, a group recently classified as a terrorist organization by the British government. The demonstrations in London led to nearly 450 arrests for supporting a banned organization. Some protests ended with clashes and arrests, and authorities in the UK had called for postponement of demonstrations following a knife attack outside a Manchester synagogue.

Expel the Israeli ambassador from Spain. We don't want these people here. We don't want war. We want peace. In London, the demonstration was organised by Palestinian Action, which was classified as a terrorist organisation by the British government in early July following acts of vandalism. As a result, nearly 450 people were arrested for supporting a banned organisation. I'm disgusted by the police, actually. They shouldn't be arresting non-violent protesters here. We have a right to protest, and Palestine Action is not a violent organisation. It should never have been prescribed in the first place. The authorities had called for demonstrations in the country to be postponed after Thursday's knife attack outside a synagogue in Manchester, where two people were murdered.

For a second day, Israel is launching more strikes on the Strip defying demands from the U.S. to stop attacks. At least 61 Palestinians were killed in attacks across the Strip.
