Authorities claim that he repeated the salute minutes after being formally charged, this time outside the watch house. As a result, he has been banned for life from both the Gabba and Suncorp Stadium. Baker-Pierce, who has previously run as an independent in two state elections, maintains his innocence and describes himself as a loyal Australian patriot. He is expected to appear in court again.
