Back on October 8th of last year, Davalos stabbed train conductor Myran Polak after being asked to get off at the Utica Avenue station as it was the last stop. That worker endured multiple surgeries and has since come out of a medically induced coma from that attack. Members of the Transport Workers Union as well as his family reacting to today's verdict. I would have liked a longer sentence, but you know, justice is served the best way it can. I can never be happy. He's still suffering. He's been suffering nightmares, but I'm a little more, I'm cautiously optimistic about the justice system. Davalos faces five years of supervision following his release from jail. The sentencing is set for September 24th.
