In a new legal filing today, attorneys for Abrego-Garcia say he was offered a last-ditch plea deal by the Trump administration that would have seen him deported to Costa Rica after serving his sentence. They say their client has until Monday to accept the deal. The administration has said if not, he could be deported to Uganda.
