Mutarika is a God-given leader to redeem Malawians from the hunger situation we have. As he's being sworn in today, the prices of grain have already started reducing on the market. We're grateful. Soaring inflation and food and fuel shortages led to a deep discontent with the leadership of outgoing president Lazarus Chakwera. Mutarika called on the international community to invest in Malawi, saying the country wanted partnerships, not handouts.
