The storm is moving west-northwest at 13 miles per hour and remains well away from Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Tropical storm force winds extend 140 miles from the center. Forecasts indicate Humberto will maintain major hurricane status as it approaches Bermuda, with its projected path taking it just north and west of the island. Authorities and residents in Bermuda are advised to monitor updates as the storm's trajectory could bring significant impacts.

Let's zoom in on Umberto, because it maintained Category 5 status all night long until we got the 5 a.m. advisory from the Hurricane Center. So the winds knocked down just a little bit. It was 160, now a Category 4 hurricane, moving toward the west-northwest at 13 miles an hour. By the way, there's Puerto Rico, there are the Virgin Islands, so it's well away from land, which is a good thing. Tropical storm force winds extend out about 140 miles from the center, and Umberto is something we need to watch for Bermuda in the future, getting a little close out there. As you can see, the wind's kind of maintaining major hurricane status right through Tuesday morning, 130 mile per hour winds, and then eventually taking that turn to the north and northeast, and the latest trajectory has it going just to the north and west of Bermuda by midweek.
