CNBC's Dom Chu reports on shares of Live Nation falling after reports that the Federal Trade Commission is suing the company over illegal ticketing practices.

Shares of Live Nation Entertainment declined following reports that the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), in coordination with seven state attorneys general, plans to sue the company and its Ticketmaster division. The lawsuit alleges that Live Nation engaged in illegal ticket resale tactics and misled both artists and consumers regarding pricing and ticket limits.

The news follows earlier reports of an FTC probe into Live Nation's ticket resale practices, which had already impacted the company's share price. The current legal action is seen as a continuation of regulatory scrutiny over Live Nation's business practices in the ticketing industry.
