Carlo Acutis, an Italian teenager who gained recognition for cataloging miracles online, is set to be canonized as the first millennial saint. Acutis, who died at age 15 from leukemia, became known as 'God's Influencer' for his use of technology to spread his faith. 

The Catholic Church has confirmed that the requirements for sainthood have been fulfilled, citing miracles attributed to Acutis, such as the healing of a boy in Brazil. While his canonization has inspired many, especially young people, some observers have raised questions about the speed of the process and the influence of his family's promotion.

Late teen to be canonized as first millennial saint

He wore jeans and Nikes and loved to write computer code. As a pre-teen, he started building a website cataloging miracles around the world. It went viral, spreading his global reputation as God's Influencer. A genius with the internet, but at the same time, this passion, this passion of life, passion for holiness.
