The last time was a day before his hospital visit, seemingly healthy and smiling at a farm exhibition. Buckingham Palace said that after his scheduled cancer treatment on Thursday morning, the King then experienced temporary side effects that required a short period of observation in hospital. He returned home last night, but his events for today have been cancelled. That includes a trip north to Birmingham. In recent weeks, he has had quite the busy schedule. And despite his cancer diagnosis, you'll remember from last year in February, he was in Northern Ireland last week, for example, with Queen Camilla, and he met with Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky earlier this month.
