When it comes to online job hunting, there are so many options that are out there. And now there's a website that acts as a one stop shop for job seekers. I'm just a young man trying to improve his situation. Jonah McDowell has a full time job working to make ends meet, but he's looking for a different challenge that will get him where he wants to be career wise. I am for apprenticeships. It's like a paid training program. You have to put in your hours. You go to school during the week. He's relied on online search engines to look for jobs, but he's often had trouble connecting directly with the company. Jonah says he sends out at least 25 applications a day, but he hasn't gotten any bites. Zero responses like that's. It makes you feel really discouraged to put it into an image. It was. I would say I am walking up the mountain and moving it to the side at the same time. It feels impossible. And while Jonah has an entry level job, there are many in the country who are unemployed, according to the US Department of Labor. Last month, the unemployment rate came in at 4.1% and the number of unemployed people was 7 million. A few months ago, Jonah discovered bandana, a free job search platform that focuses on transparency.
