Among the missions, Stern and an accomplice distributed flyers with provocative messages, and he was instructed to send a severed animal's head and flowers to an Israeli official, though he did not carry out this particular act. This case is one of several recent incidents involving Israelis allegedly recruited by Iran for espionage activities.
