Invest 91L, the tropical wave moving across the eastern Atlantic, will likely develop into a tropical depression or Tropical Storm Gabrielle later this weekend.

Meteorologists are tracking Invest 91L, a weather system with a high likelihood of developing into a tropical depression or potentially being named Gabrielle. Forecast models show confidence that the system could impact the Leeward Islands and possibly the Windward Islands in the coming week.

The GFS model currently projects the system moving westward, while the European model shows little development at this time. Experts continue to monitor the situation as the outlook evolves.

Because it's an invest, you see all the models and kind of make sense as to where they have this. And there's a lot of confidence in the fact that at some point next week, whether it be early or mid, we do see the Leeward Islands and potentially even the Wimbledon Islands impacted by this. All right, so I wanted to show you the GFS because they're the only model that has anything here pushing it toward the west. The European doesn't have much at all today. That's today's outlook.
