According to the IDF, at least ten jets dropped approximately 35 munitions on four targets, including a military site within the presidential palace complex, an oil depot, and two power stations. These strikes aimed to disrupt the Houthis' military and economic capabilities.

The Houthis have continued to target Israel, with their leadership stating that attacks will persist as long as Israeli operations in Gaza continue. While the strikes may have political resonance within Israel, analysts suggest they are unlikely to halt Houthi actions.

Obviously, you know, this news coming out today of Israeli airstrikes in the capital of Sana'a in Yemen. What do we know about those airstrikes? What are they targeting? And why now? Yeah. So, we're talking about at least 10 Israeli Air Force jets that participated in the strikes, dropping around 35 munitions on four different targets, according to the IDF. This was a military site located in the presidential palace complex in Sana'a, as well as an oil depot and two power stations. So trying to go after the Houthis where it hurts, the oil, the power. This is also economically the big targets. But ultimately, we've seen Israel go after such targets, and we've seen the Houthis continue to target Israel. Not only are they continuing their targeting nearly two years into the war, but they're advancing their capabilities. And so, if we're listening to what they're saying, not just what they're doing, which is consistent, also their statements are consistent. The senior Houthi official, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, saying that their goal is to continue to strike Israel as long as Israel's operation in the Gaza Strip is ongoing. And so, for the Israeli public and politically, maybe this is good to see smoke still rising from Sana'a, as it potentially will be until tomorrow. This isn't what's going to stop the Houthis.
