Now, she's turning to the courts, hoping for the truth. RASHIDA SISS, Mother of Rashida's Son-in-Law My husband suddenly became ill. We went to a private clinic, and, after three days, they decided to operate on him. But they hadn't discussed it with us. I was there until 11 p.m., when, suddenly, the clinic's security guard approached me. He said my husband had died and the doctors had gone home. After that, I was in shock. It's just a glimpse into the state of health facilities in Morocco. Rashida Siss' conditions are untenable. It's overcrowded. People are lying outside the door, waiting and sleeping, and all kinds of illnesses are rampant. You go there for treatment, but you return with a new illness. There aren't enough medical equipment and too few hospitals, and even a hospital that looks nice on the outside is never good on the inside. There's no order and no transparency. The staff are all worked up, the security guards, the reception staff. No one seems approachable. Cities like Rashida's are fueling outrage. Thousands are marching across Morocco, protesting corruption, and a government pouring money into football competitions, while hospitals and schools are left behind. We see hospitals that could be labeled as hospitals of the dead, hospitals without basic facilities. That's why we're calling for the resignation of the minister of health and the entire government. We don't believe they have a solution because they caused this problem. All eyes are on Friday when the King is set to speak at the opening of a new parliamentary session.
