Comic-Con 2025, the annual pop culture event, has kicked off in downtown San Diego with Preview Night.

Comic-Con 2025 has officially started in downtown San Diego, attracting a large crowd of attendees and fans of comics, movies, and pop culture. The convention features a variety of attractions, including a prominent Marvel's Fantastic Four exhibit ahead of the movie's release. Organizers expect around 135,000 people to attend over the course of the event, with more than 460,000 square feet of exhibit space available. The opening day included lively interactions with costumed characters and enthusiastic fans, setting an energetic tone for the rest of the convention.

All right, let's see what he can really handle, though. Does the visual match the actual strength? Oh, oh, oh, if anything. I know. Yeah, it's working. It's working. Well, that's definitely the only time I'll ever get away with punching a man on television. R2, you just walked in through the front doors. What do you think of Comic-Con so far? And as his translator, that means I think he's excited to be here. R2 always has fun. The girls like him. Does R2 like the ladies back? Oh, I know what that means. That's a resounding yes. So sometimes I think he gets around. He gets around more than I do. I think at this point it's a good wingman. Yeah, exactly. A good wingman might need to take R2-D2 for myself. I'm hiding back here somewhere. This place is packed and it's only the beginning. They're expecting about 135,000 people here all weekend long in this gigantic space. More than 460,000 square feet of exhibit floor to work with here. And here we are at one of the main attractions, Marvel's Fantastic Four exhibit ahead of the movie's release on Thursday. Although with me standing right here, you might as well call us the Fantastic Five. Some people have said I resemble this guy over here because we have thick skin. I don't look like him. I don't look like him. Now we got the hang of it. This I can do. Although you know what I did? I left my light cycle license at home. I should probably get off this thing. I love Spider-Man. He's like my biggest crush. He's always been my crush because he's nerdy. Give me your best Spider-Man stance. I'm going to do it with you. Do it together. Here we go. Three, two, one. Gotcha. Man, I am exhausted for all the right reasons though. If this is what preview day is like, I cannot wait to see what the rest of Comic-Con 2025 has in store.
