A cold front is expected to impact the Northeast United States with one to two inches of rain from New York City through Washington, DC, and up to Boston. Higher elevations in West Virginia, Michigan, and New England are forecast to receive additional snowfall. 

The most significant concern is high winds, particularly as holiday travel increases. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 miles per hour are predicted for New York City and along the I-95 corridor, likely causing travel delays as many people begin their holiday journeys.

One to two inches of rain here in New York City, down through DC, up through Boston, all of these areas that just saw that fresh snowfall. And as far as the snowfall goes, there's your higher elevations there in West Virginia. UP of Michigan, of course, sticks out parts of Michigan there, you know, the mitten of Michigan, and then the higher elevations of the Northeast New England. But the wind, I really think that's gonna be the biggest headache that we see with all of this, especially as we're kind of getting to that holiday travel. A lot of people starting to pack up their suitcases, get the presents wrapped to put in the suitcase to take to family next week. And here's the wind situation as we get towards the end of the week. Detroit picking up Wednesday into Thursday. Friday, this'll likely be a day that a lot of people are starting their holiday travel. And we have wind gusts on the 95 corridor. Look at New York City at 6 a.m. on Friday, 50 to 60 mile per hour wind gusts. Unfortunately, Steph, we know what that's gonna do. It's gonna cause delays.
