Jones' lawyer complained to the judge today that the prosecution has given details of the case to the media within minutes of Jones' own legal team being told of changes to the charge sheet. Alan Jones' legal team told the court it now expects a contested hearing next year, lasting four to five months. The judge said that seemed an extraordinarily long time, given the prosecution is predicting just six weeks.
