In the courtroom, near silence as the verdict was delivered, Marbury standing tall and looking ahead without reaction. Defense lawyer Kenneth Marley says he and his client are disappointed. That is the word, I guess, that describes best how we both feel. You may recall yesterday the judge told the members of the jury that, in his opinion, the Crown's theory of first-degree murder was very thin. Those were his words. So I don't know. I respect the decision of those 12 people, but I do not understand it. The next step is sentencing.
