A significant weather system is moving across the United States, bringing a large trough and moisture into contact with cold air, resulting in snowfall. As the low pressure system moves eastward, it is expected to pull down some of the most frigid air seen so far this season.

According to forecasts, approximately 193 million people will experience below-average temperatures, with 164 million remaining below average through the weekend. The cold snap is expected to impact travel and outdoor activities during the Black Friday period.
