Loyola Marymount University professor, Vanessa Diaz, says Bad Bunny's global influence is so great she's written a book about him and has taught a course focused on the artist since 2023. She says his standing with a segment of the community against ICE and participation on the world's biggest sports stage speaks volumes. Bad Bunny is an artist in the truest sense. I think art moves people. You don't have to be a politician to wanna speak up about the things that matter the most to you and your community. The broader Bay Area community eagerly counts the days until the Super Bowl and super economic tsunami it spawns arrives.
