The wells have dried up to the point that when we wake up in the morning and find no water, we will be overcome with tears because we see the plants and flowers suffering, as if they are telling us that they are in need of water. Growers across the country must overcome these hurdles to keep their fragrant crops thriving and meet both local and international demand. We are working hard to increase flower production and to meet demand, especially for flowers that are planted in the streets, because no matter how beautiful the buildings are, that is considered nothing without a touch of greenery. Our dedication fuels an industry for ceremonies and gifting, as well as key export markets like the U.K. and the U.S. I care deeply about roses and flowers and love having them at home to beautify. It is essential to offer flowers, especially when I go for an event or a celebration, and also as a gift to my parents. Flowers are important for us. Despite other challenges like weak infrastructure, Moroccan growers are finding ways to ensure their flowers and their legacy continue to bloom.
