Svyrydenko's appointment will proceed following the resignation of current Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, which must be approved by parliament. After this, parliament will hold a separate vote to confirm Svyrydenko's appointment. The process is expected to take some time due to required bureaucratic procedures.
