Police have identified Tamara Jakobowicz, age 53, as the woman who died after being struck by a dump truck in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The incident occurred on December 9th at the intersection of Hooper Street and White Avenue, where Jakobowicz was crossing with the walk signal in her favor.

Investigators report that Jakobowicz succumbed to her injuries in the week following the accident. Authorities state that the dump truck driver stayed at the scene after the collision, and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
