He doesn't like to be here. He gets paid by the match not by the hour. Having questioned the umpire if he was a man, Medvedev told the crowd to boo as the official tried to get the match restarted. It was a six minute holder. It is match point for Benjamin Bonsi. Medvedev back from the dead won the set in a tie break and breezed through the next. Hats off to Frenchman Bonsi who found his groove again and won the craziest first round encounter he'll ever have. Just before he was interviewed on court, another final interruption from Medvedev, destroying rackets in the background. How do you sum up this match? I have no idea. He throws crazy. Jordan Thompson continues to play in a back brace. The Aussie taking on a man nicknamed the Tornado. Corentin Moutet who had an Aussie fan kicked out. Thompson ignored the theatrics and made it through in four sets. The most memorable win so far, Alexandra Iala, the first from the Philippines to win in a grand slam.
