In contrast, Whitkoff's acknowledgment of President Donald Trump's efforts received cheers from the crowd. Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the ceasefire for both Israeli families and the people of Gaza. Relatives of hostages expressed relief and credited the U.S. administration for its role in securing the agreement. President Trump is expected to visit Israel soon, where he will address the Knesset and meet with released captives as part of the ongoing exchange process.

To see their families get the closure they deserve and to end this nightmare, and also to see the suffering end for the people in Gaza, who for most of them were experiencing this through no fault of their own. Relatives of hostages say they can finally breathe a sigh of relief, crediting the efforts of the American administration. I would like to thank President Trump, Mr. Steve Whitkoff, and the entire U.S. administration. You have made history. On Monday, President Trump is expected to arrive in Israel, his first visit since returning to office. He'll give an address to the Israeli Knesset and meet with released captives during the short trip. The exchange is expected on Monday, with the release of captives followed by the freeing of Palestinian prisoners. For two years, many Israelis accused Benjamin Netanyahu of blocking the deal.
