Police are hunting at least two gunmen who opened fire on a man and a woman sitting in a parked car in Greystanes. It happened in a quiet suburban street but police believe it is linked to ongoing gang wars.

A shooting incident occurred in Greystanes, NSW, when two bullets were fired into a Suzuki Swift, narrowly missing the occupants, Ratu Vesikula and a woman. The shooters fled the scene in a BMW, which was later found burning in a nearby suburb. 

Police suspect the intended targets may have links to the KVT street gang, known for its association with the Alameddine Crime Network. No injuries were reported, and authorities are continuing their search for the suspects, who remain at large.

Police suspect the intended targets of this shooting have links to KVT, a street gang that has previously worked as the muscle for the Alameddine Crime Network. All I can say is the occupants of the premises where the vehicle was and the occupants within the vehicle are known to police. The balaclava wearing BMW driving gunmen are tonight still on the run. Police and other residents of this quiet street just thankful no one was hurt. It's very dangerous. It's very lucky people weren't killed in this attack.
